Sodikoff’s New Mag Mile Food Hall to Serve Small Cheval Burgers and Detroit Pizza

Aster Hall is bringing 16 food stalls to the Mag Mile.

Hogsalt’s Aster Hall reveals lineup for its 16 food stalls

The new Mag Mile food hall from Au Cheval’s Brendan Sodikoff and company should now open at the end of November. Reps from Aster Hall, located on the fifth and sixth floors of the 900 North Michigan Shops, have also officially released the lineup for its 16 stations; they’re calling them “vaults.” The offerings include familiar favorites from Sodikoff’s Hogsalt Hospitality including burgers from Small Cheval, barbecue from Green Street Smoked Meats, and sweets from the Doughnut Vault. There are also some surprises including Detroit-style pan pizza, tacos, and lobster rolls.

Aster Hall’s latest news release hailed the remodeled 22,000-square-foot space as a place that could rival co-working spots like WeWork. Hopefully it’ll offer strong wifi. The vendors will also offer catering for onsite and offsite events.

Aster Hall will serve lobster rolls.

Those vendors also include Chicago-style hot dogs, ramen, and an expansion of Hogsalt’s 3 Greens Market in River North. That’s the popular salad and hot bar spot near East Bank Club. Hogsalt has run a few successful coffee shops, including the Japanese-style Sawada Coffee in West Loop. At Aster Hall, the caffeine will come from a new brand, Midnight Juice & Coffee Co.

Other new offerings include Lil’ Boots, which will specialize in fresh pastas and Italian subs with fresh-baked bread. Lost Lily’s will serve Chinese-style stir fry and dumplings.

Aster Hall could be the cure for any upcoming cases of the holiday blues as shoppers descend on Michigan Avenue. Check out the full lineup below and stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks.
