One half of the hugely successful EDM duo the Chainsmokers has picked up a chic modernist pad in the Hollywood Hills, his latest real estate investment in the city.

Andrew Taggart paid $12 million for the 10,100-square-foot house, according to Yolanda’s Little Black Book. The six-bedroom, 7.25-bath home features a massive interior courtyard, sleek interiors and exteriors, and a large master suite.

The home was built on spec by ANR Signature Collection, the design and development firm led by Agustin Rodriguez and George Jordan.

It purchased the Hollywood Hills property and built Taggart’s new home for $3.9 million in 2015.

ANR also designed the Beverly Hills Post Office mansion that Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner picked up for $13.5 million in October. Last November, ANR sold a spec home in Bel Air for nearly $20 million.

Taggart’s latest purchase is his fourth home in L.A. and by far his largest. All the properties were purchased in the last few years, since his pop group hit the big time. He also owns a house in West Hollywood and two in Sherman Oaks; all of them were built on spec. [Yolanda] — Dennis Lynch
